Lake Kuremaa (also Lake Kurema) is one of the largest lakes of Vooremaa in Jõgeva County, 2 km north of Palamuse area. The lake of Kuremaa is 397 ha large, the maximum depth is 13.3 m and average 5.9 m. Settles above the sea level at 83 m height. The lake is with a weak flow. The oak forest and recreation area of Kuremaa in the north and north-east coast of Kuremaa are taken under protection – the recreation-protection area near Lake Kuremaa. There are lots of stories about the lake in folk monuments. The Chinese wolf crab has also been captured from the lake of Kuremaa. Wikipedia
