Kraukļu aizsea is the geological and geomorphological natural monument of the Gauja piete in Vējupītes bore, Sigulda. Located in the territory of Gauja National Park 400 m south-east of the Painting Blood.Since 1974 the curtain is protected by the state. Protected is the area of 8,03 ha. It has emerged as a corner pocket with 11,5 m high walls in the red sandstones of Gauja. Ancient writings can be found on the walls. Fosilies of armorfish are found in the grooves.
